Trond Espen Seim previews new episodes of Varg Veum Season 2! Now available – only on MHz Choice!

It’s been a very busy “Varg Veum” month here at MHz Choice – series star Trond Espen Seim’s birthday was October 4th, the new HD episodes of Season 1 premiered on October 9th, Varg Veum’s (fictional) birthday was October 15th, author Gunnar Staalesen’s birthday is October 19th, and the celebrations culminate with the North American premiere of Varg Veum Season 2 on October 23rd! (Maybe we’ll dress up as Varg for Halloween too; anybody got a black jacket we can borrow?) And what better way to celebrate “Varg-toberfest” than with a newly-remixed interview with Mr. Veum himself!

Back in 2010, we had the pleasure of visiting the set of “Black Sheep”, the second of the Season 2 movies, during filming at the Bergen Aquarium in July. The entire crew was exhausted after consecutive night shoots, but Trond Espen Seim made time to sit for a short interview with us. (Long-time MHz viewers may remember snippets from this interview airing on MHz Worldview at the time.) Now, at long last, this interview has been “remixed” to, as originally intended, act as a preview of the new Season 2 episodes – complete with clips. Enjoy!

As for the rest of the Season 2 episodes, well… Episode 4 is rather special. Filmed on location in Budapest, it’s an all-out action thriller – as close to Hamilton as this show gets – and a Dirty Money White Lies reunion to boot, as Ane Dahl Torp guest stars… and she rides a Ducati too! (Codename Hunter fans will get that visual in-joke.) Mammon leading man Jon Øigarden also guest stars, playing Varg’s best friend. Those two actors will reunite in the award-winning Mammon Season 2, with Trond Espen joining the cast of that show as the Norwegian prime minister. But that’s a story for later… (Editor’s note: Mammon Season 2 premieres November 27th, 2018 on MHz Choice!)
